ERP’s involvement with the Los Vientos III, IV, and V Wind Projects began early with an evaluation of meteorological data coupled with landowner discussions. Our detailed involvement continued with the identification of critical constraints, an assessment of permitting requirements, supporting project planning, proving community and landowner outreach, and spearheading project siting. More specifically, ERP held roles in conducting avian and bat surveys, wetland and stream surveys, mapping setbacks and environmental constraints, reviewing land records, turbine and infrastructure siting and micrositing, construction management, coordination with state and federal agencies, and biological monitoring. As a key member of the project development team, ERP’s involvement in the project continued through construction to facilitate project continuity and ensure compliance with key permits and regulations.

The Los Vientos III, IV, and V Wind Projects are currently in operation.
